After years at an independent publishing house, she decided that although editing was definitely a passion, she wanted to do more. Reema's first company, Reemarani, a collection of luxury scarves and shawls for women made in the finest silks and pashminas, was inspired by her Kashmiri heritage. While building and developing her network for her line, Reema found her true love and calling; Public Relations.

Reema then went on to co-found We Are PR Consulting; a boutique PR firm based in NYC. While at We Are PR, Reema held the title of Managing Director, overseeing and taking lead on accounts from Fashion, Food, Film and Television. She also specializes in Crisis Management, Media Training, Product/Brand Launches and Personal PR.

Reema is also the Founder & Executive Director of South Asian Young Women Entrepreneurs — or SAYWE. SAY WE creates a positive and collegial forum in which South Asian women, regardless of political and religious affiliations, can network, support each other, and applaud one another's major accomplishments. SAY WE also aspires to raise awareness and funds for causes and organizations that work toward the advancement of women in South Asia as well as South Asian women here in the in the United States.

Reema is also a co-host on Andaaz, which is a lifestyle talk show that airs on Sony Entertainment Television's international stream in over 150 countries.
